Alien vs Bloodborne

I worked extremely hard on this. Please take a look.
I had wanted to paint this idea for years but I actually started this piece in 2021 and it took over 200 hours to finally finish. I learned so much on this.

You can see it went through a ton of iterations. Many lessons learned through intense hyperfixation and just bashing my skull at it. Brute forcing the illustration to be good with a shaky foundation is miserable but I'm glad I saw it through.

A major struggle point for me was the queen's face. My biggest breakthrough was when I bought a bluray drive to go frame by frame at max res for reference. I even found rare concept art on the 1991 laserdisc release I'd never seen before to help me out.

Finally what release is complete without some deleted scenes. I really wanted to fit so much into one painting, definitely too much ultimately. Particularly proud of the giant facehugger zombies idea and the amygdala head xenomorph eggs.
